One-line Synopsis:

Jamaal leaves everything behind and finds himself on an epic adventure to follow his dream to be the first monkey R&B superstar.

50 word Synopsis:

Jammal is constantly under pressure from his father to become a world class chef. However, this is not the path of fame he wants to take; instead he aspires to become the world's first monkey R&B superstar. Along with his best friend Rachel, he leaves home not knowing the dangerous journey that awaits him.

However this dvd package still took me ages to finalise it and I have no idea why!Guess my working system just getting slow after being hardworking for long long day..LOL

Animated Company Logo

Gosh...Finally I finish animated the company logo, it has took me ages to do it!!Hope my group members will like it since i think it's pretty bad..LOL..=P

This is the animation title that done by Micheal, and I've helped to edit some of it..

Final Characters Biography

Characters-

Jamaaal- Quirky, childish yet determined, Jamaal's only passion in life music. Born and raised in the ghetto tress of the jungle, Jamaal has got what it takes to dream big and make it all happe. Monkey see. Monkey do. Jamaal will.

Rachel-Rachel has beautiful soul and is blessed with gift to touch others with her wonderful voice. Fun, courageous yet quiet; Rachel is the prefect company for any animal in the jungle.

JayPa- Jamaal's father is strict and controlling of his only son's life. All he wants for his son is to be a world famous chef. He is completely against Jamaal's dream to be an R&B superstar.

G-Penguin- Lengendary and mysterious. Not much other information is known about him and where he came from. He never takes off his glasses, always carries his ice stick and is very secretive about his life.

These are the characters that I have finalised, changed alot right and looks much better right!!

Final Scenes Design

A brand new scenes that edited by me, and we have used a guild for all our backgrounds for the animation. In this way, we able to move and change every single sizes of our components to create our scenes. Still, thanks to Micheal for suggested me such great ideas.

The summer jungle- The birthplace of a superstar in the making. This is the ghetto jungle where Jamaal was born and raised during the summertime.

The autum jungle- As season change, monkeys also change. As Jamaal and Rachel embark on their journey.

The iceberg- The mysterious ice jungle where Jamaal and Rachel find the legendary G-Penguin.

Problem~

Sigh..Rex has decided to "dump" the group cause of his health problem, and now we kind of stressing out to finsih up our animation since Rex used to be the main role in the group. However, whatever we need to do now for the group is re-organise each member roles and picking up whatever Rex has done.

The suffering days are coming along~Hooray!! Sure we can make it!!xD

IV-Here I pronounce...the "2MRD.inc"

2mrd.inc- a funky and fresh animation studio which focuses on creating short filmsfor an audience of all ages and cultures. This is accomplished by the creative ideas applied to our innotative stories to create films for everyone to enjoy.

Week 3&4 we were mainly focus into the winning pitches and formed a group of 4. Out of all winning pitches, I've joined Marc's pitch which is the dancing monkey.

Once our team got up together, each of us were mean to create some ideas for our company logo and name, and it was pretty struggling at first. For the end of the product, we have came out with "2mrd.inc" which stand for Marc,Micheal, Reck and Douglas. It sounds simple however it looks awesome with our final product!!

Here is some of my initial ideas for our company logo, but it just not good and unique enough compare to the final one!!

III-'D Rabyz' Concept Pitch

First assignment was the concept pitch. A storyboard were asked to create for short animation, and here is the synopsis of my pitch:

A bunny was in a classroom writing an open topic essay for his examination entitled "I want to be a superhero'. Upon writing his essay, he wondered what would happen if superheroes existed in the world. The next thing he knew, he fell asleep and dreamed into the very character he was writing in his essay. According to the sto0ry, this superhero had ridden the world of bad guys and evil and was hailed a hero to all. Being the hero that he was, he enjoyed the feeling of glory and being adored by all as the city's idol. Soon to be rudely swoken by his examiner Mr. Cow, he promptly realised that he hadn't begun to write his essay and he was on the lines of being out of time. Filled with anxiety Bunny tried to rethink of his dream that he had just experienced and attempted to transfer into his paper but after several moments, nothing could pop up into his mind! At the end of exam, Bunny's exam paper remained empty and got a solid egg for his test because of it. Bunny walked out the exam hall crying with pain and regret for there was nothing he could to do change the fact that he failed. Bunny then slowly walked out sobbing. changed his clothes and took off into the air to save the world. Whoever knew that Bunny is an actual superhero.

Here is my storyboard!Well, initially was hoping mine would get chosen since I have put lots of effort into it, but unfortunately it didn't been chosen!!SAD!!

II-Walk Cycle

This week is actually my first time playing around with Adobe Flash. Initially I thought drawing stick figures is something that everyone that can do it EASILY, but the outcome is sort of different than 'usual', which I feel my walk cycle seems RETARTED and UGLY!!lol..More practice need to be done or else I wont be able to catch up!! =.=

Guess this is the correct walk cycle that we mean to learn....Sigh....Seems hard to me tho.....=(
